Who put up the "Come and Take It" banner? The San Antonio supporters group is claiming responsibility but it seems that they support Houston. I am confused.

The Crocketteers are divided loyalties. Two of the leaders (James and Rich) are former (current?) Inferno members, but they have people in the group that are fervent Dynamo fans.
1. Individual members of the Crocketteers support various MLS teams. The top 2 being FCD and Housuck. But we also have folks who support RSL, Seattle, DC United, LA, Portland and NYRB. So as a group, we don't favor one MLS team over another.
2. I did not go on the trip to the HOU-NY match yesterday, but we did have approx 35-40 folks who did. I spoke with James about the banner. He was not aware of it and the FCD supporters who went on the trip stayed with the Crocketteers group the entire time.
So while I really wish we could take credit, it doesn't look like we were responsible.
I know they are planning a new video too, as they were getting all of us to say bad stuff about Houstank at the game on Sunday. Can't wait to see what they come up with
I will be sad when he moves to New Mexico He is the only person who understands EVERY word I say! Good luck Alan... and your comment was bleedin' Fandabbydozey!!!

I don't know about you but I am very happy with the 1 point from this game. The team is coming off an incredible May and they must be tired as heck! Brek was playing solid again in my book and Warshaw did a good job standing in for an injured George John.
Dayum, the fans in Houston are a-holes!!! From the stupidity of coming into our section and taunting us ti the ABSOLUTE stupidity of trying to charge two supporters after the game, the Houstank Fans are just a bunch of dip shits!!! Kudos to FCD FO for organizing the bus down and finding a great place for us to watch the Championship Game!!!

Dude... this is freakin' awesome. I moved it to the post game thread as it really deserves to be seen by many LOL!
Gotta say that the Houston SGs do a great job of supporting their team, even though it is a crap team and an ungly color and the city stinks and it's easier to spend time on creating TIFO when you are on welfare or between stealing hubcaps and stabbing people
Thanks to everyone who made the trip to Houston. You gave 100% throughout the game and we let Houston know who was the best team in Texas... FC DALLAS!!!
Don't think that I have any inside knowledge about this (seriously), but I am pretty sure that the FCD marketing goons sent that banner down there and houston marketing goons put it up for them. They are all trying to sell tickets to games....
I agree. Publicity is good, but I really didn't like this being so contrived. A rivalry should be stoked by the fans, not a marketing officer from either or both teams. I doubt it added any bums on seats. What it did do is make the people who already hate eachother, get a little more hatred lit up.
