| There IS a standard MLS "elbow throw", which does happen a lot in every game and generally goes unpunished. But to be fair, that one by Blas was significantly more aggressive and dangerous.
I have no complaints about this; just so long as the league is consistent with "post-game" suspensions and fines for the rest of the season.
Its not a perfect system, but they have to start somewhere. | |

I don't like the idea of lynching...EVER! Even as a chant against bad refereeing. As for the suspension for the elbow, it's hard to argue. I don't mind the suspension IF they're being fair and it's happening to everyone who does dangerous play. Like FCDSouth, I'm okay with it as long as the league is consistent with this type of ruling. | |
