Kick off has been pushed back to 6:30. Seems like the bus is/was planning on arriving several hours before kick off. I wonder if the woman's game will be brought forward?

From FC Dallas:

- "Additional bulk items…drums, flags, etc…should be made aware prior to arriving on Saturday morning. "

Are they saying' they want a list of what we're taking? I'm asking because I need room for the 80 rolls of 40' streamer that I've got packaged up four to a baggie. And which drum are we taking? I've got the red and white one fixed up and fairly well in tune. I'm going to work up in Oklahoma City, and I need to hand the drum off to an officer before you guys start wondering why I'm not showing up for home games with that particular piece of Inferno propitty.

Big Austria will need room on the bus. I won't have room to swing it in the section, but I should be able to from the concourse behind where we're sitting.

Has anyone heard if we're wearing blue stripes on the bus trip? I don't want to bring both.

Just got off the phone with the Houston FO about the game and here is the lowdown on everything.......

Bus leaves at 11:00am eta to Houston is about 3:00pm
Gates open at 5:00pm: That's when we will be going in. The Bus will drop us off right at the gate and pick us up there.

There where some questions about eating before when the bus gets down to BVAA. What we where told was there was not much around BVAA and what is down there is meet-up places for Houston fans and there SG. So I would find some place outside of Houston to get some food or somewhere away from BVAA that does not have ties to Houston SG.

As far as tailgating goes what I could tell because of the way its all set up now there not much in the way of doing it because of the of how limited the space is and the policy that is place.

Our FO will be working with the Houston FO to get us in and out of BVAA. We will have security/HPD.

- Flags, Banners, Drums: It all has to go into inside at once with everyone that is on the bus when the gates open. I said that we would take 10 flags down and our drums, Wayne said there will be 3 two-polls with and a banner, Kasey is taking a 10ft Texas flag. As for the banners, the only place to hang them up is on the back wall of the section. I would leave the bag up here and not take any of the banners outside of the inferno banner that is if you guys want to take it. The less stuff that goes the better that way nothing gets left.

- No streamers or confetti.

- No brass instruments (Horns)

- Incendiary devices(smoke, flares, fireworks, ect): If anyone is found to have them/light one off you are subject to arrest by the Houston PD

- If anyone is found to be intoxicated before entering BVAA you will not be let into the game and will have to wait on the bus

-Sec 221 will be the only place where FCD fans can have flags, banners, drums, ect.

-Sec 221 will have a 1 row buffer around the section.

That's about it. I am waiting on email from our FO that will layout just about everything that was talked about and will post more info when I get or Jon/Brenda if you guys get it before I do can you guys post it.

DO NOT hang signage without having people behind it. We've gotten shit stolen in Houston before and I spent a decent part of the second half of a Red Bulls game running down a prick that tried jacking a flag in New Jersey. Yes, I got him.

There is not away to get behind the wall, so if you guys take any of the banners your going to have to put people in that last row to keep a eye on them.

The bus, is she BYOB or will tasty tasty bevvies be provided for all the good little boys and girls in the world?

Also music. Can one bring CDs or an iPod for public consumption or will people tell me to put my earbuds on and mind my own frakking business? Because this Lumineers album is blowing my mindbrain still.

Hard to believe that this will be my first Inferno roadie to the H. Third trip to there for a game, but first two were an Open Cup run where I rode with Kev and Janice and a fly-in from NYC where I got caught up in other things and missed the actual game.

Info from the email. Please read it.

Everyone,

Here are the final details/timeline for tomorrow’s trip:

10:00 – FC Dallas Team Store opens to offer 20% off all merchandise (sale items excluded) for anyone traveling
10:30 – Bus starts to load…there are no reserved seats, so it’s first come – first served on seat location for the bus.
11:00 – Bus leaves

*We
need to be at BBVA Compass Stadium no earlier than 4:30 and no later
than 5:00, so the bus will likely take a quick ‘pit-stop’ at the
Woodlands area (30-40 minutes out of the Stadium) if the trip time is
tracking on schedule. It is not an option to arrive at the stadium
early and have you exit the bus to loiter around the area there.

4:45
– arrive at the Stat-Oil gate of BBVA Compass Stadium, just outside our
seating area of Section 221. A FC Dallas representative will load the
bus to hand out your match ticket while you are on the bus. Seats are
assigned (not general admission), so be sure to claim tickets with those
you want to sit with.

5:00
– we will unload the bus and enter through the Stat-Oil gate…Section
221 located just below. We will receive an escort from stadium
personnel until we arrive at our section.

Things to know before entering

1. You will not be permitted to enter the stadium if you are deemed to be intoxicated
2. Banners
and flags that are pre-approved will need to enter the Stat-Oil gate
with our group…they will not be permitted at any other gate or any other
time. They are also only allowed to be in Section 221…FCD banners or
flags not in 221 will not be permitted
3. NO confetti or streamers permitted
Approximately
8:30 – As the match ends, FC Dallas representatives will work with
stadium ushers and security to receive an escort back to the bus.
Please be prepared to move back to the bus quickly after the whistle,
but also know that they may hold us in the section for a couple minutes
to coordinate the proper exit strategy. Either way, once the group is
giving the cue by stadium personnel we would ask that everyone exit the
section through the same gate as we enter and load onto the bus for
departure.

8:45
– 9:00 – Bus departs back to FC Dallas Stadium – It is your own
responsibility to get yourself to the bus following the match. After
honest and thorough efforts to locate individuals who are not on the
bus, it will depart without said individuals.

Thanks to all for your support…we look forward to a bringing home the cannon!

Wow. Maybe we shouldn't treat the houscum fans so nice next year.

Have the bus drop them off in Prosper nd then have them run from wild dogs that have blowtorches attached. Just a thought.
