Advocare Day Empty

From the news feeds (Daniel Robertson)...

"Sponsors: Tomorrow is obviously a huge day for AdvoCare as FC Dallas will wear their new sponsored jerseys for the first time. AdvoCare signage has gone up all over the stadium including the lighting structures and I'm told they will have a huge circular banner in the middle of the stadium before the game and at halftime like the Galaxy does with Herbalife. I'm hearing everyone on the Beer Garden will get FC Dallas/AdvoCare jersey t-shirts as well so you may want to head down there to try to get one before they're all gone.

"Sellout: Speaking of Herbalife there will be a few hundred of their employees in one end of the stadium and hundreds of AdvoCare employees on the other side so try not to get in the middle of them."

"In addition to everything just mentioned... with NBC Sports Network broadcasting the game live nationally sandwiched in between Olympics coverage, tomorrow is just a huge day."

I agree with Jack White, who said: "What makes you think you need to buy a guitar?" (after making one out of any old suitable junk laying around and playing it damn well, too).

Very happy that FCD at last has a shirt sponsor ... far too long in coming. Other potential sponsors really do see it as a mark of overall interest in the brand and it can only have a positive effect.

Anyone got the lowdown on how much this is actually worth to the club?? Possibly a bit of a low-key start and I'm not sure if it is a name well known enough to give AdvoCare much business on a national scale.

But at least it is a nice-looking logo which will not damage replica shirt sales ... unlike UK side Watford, who were all set to have a cartoon chicken and egg on the shirts after being sponsored by The Happy Egg organic egg producing firm! New owners of the side ... the group which runs Udinese in Serie A and Granada in La Liga ... quickly pulled the plug on the deal and has landed a soccer video game manufacturer instead!
