| https://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=174629209236579&num_event_invites=0Invite everyone you know! This is an ideal opportunity to invite friends out and get them involved. Ideas... let's have them. Doesn't mean we can do it, but we would rather see a list of options that we can discuss and get to work on. So what sort of "events" would you like to see at the tailgate? Just some suggestions, so feel free to add to the list and critique: 1. Kickoff rally/ Burn an effigy of the Chicago Fire 2. FIFA 2010 contest with prize for the champion 3. Inferno Chant Idol- create a chant to be voted on and adopted for the season 4. Weather permitting... a dunk tank. Proceeds to charity 5. Membership table... set up to draw new fans in. | |

| from DFWAO email just rcvd --- The Inferno 24 Hour Tailgate Party
To kick off the 2011/2012 season for FC Dallas, the Inferno will hold their annual 24 hour tailgate party March 18th and 19th in the parking lot next to the Londoner in Frisco! This is a huge event and gives every football lover in DFW the opportunity to come out, drink a few beers, and pass the ball around with the most passionate football fans in the state! FC Dallas has added 4 new supporter groups whom all will be in attendance, Dallas Football Elite, College Army, La Ola Roja, and the 380 Eagles join El Matador and the Inferno. You can bet on the atmosphere in Pizza Hut Park getting a bit louder this season! Of course, you don't have to stay the entire 24 hours, but it will be a very fun experience if you do!! If you do stay, take my advice and get a hotel room at the Comfort Suites that's right across from the PHP parking lot. (Wouldn't be a "tailgate" if you stayed in a hotel !!!) LOLHere's the facebook event page for more details! https://www.facebook.com/#!/event.php?eid=174629209236579 There were also be a march to the match from the Londoner preceding every single FC Dallas home fixture this season. The wife of the late Lamar Hunt, Norma, will be leading the very first march to the match and upon entering the stadium, will place an FC Dallas scarf over the massive Lamar Hunt statue at the North End. An different important figure in the soccer community will be chosen to lead each march. (i find this to be very interesting)These are very exciting times for FC Dallas. Come out and support FC Dallas and help this game grow in DFW! | |
