TIDN RULES/ ETIQUETTE

We welcome back all TIDN veterans and all 1st Timers to TIDN (The Inferno Dot Net). It is our hope that you will interact with all members in a fun envireonment and in a respectful way. We do have rules that you must keep in mind, so please read on.

I. Comments that include profanity, or personal attacks, or antisocial behavior such as "spamming" or "trolling," or other inappropriate comments or material will be removed from the forum without warning... no exceptions. You are fully responsible for the content that you post... no excuses... no exceptions!

These Forums are for the discussion of FC Dallas, Soccer, Supporters Group Matters and other fun topics. We do have a General Discussion Non Soccer forum for you to talk about what else you may have an interest in and encourage you to have fun there.
We concentrate on what we have in common on TIDN.... a love of FC Dallas!!

II. Stay on topic
Keep your posts relevant to the thread topic. Derailing threads makes it difficult for new people to find information. Posts that attempt to derail will be removed by the moderator, with no explanation needed or provided.

III. Be respectful
We encourage playful banter in these forums, but keep it friendly. Your playful sarcasm can be viewed very differently by a new member, so no matter how funny you THINK it is... THINK TWICE BEFORE YOU POST OR REPLY and avoid any personal attacks. Be welcoming of new members and respectful. If we find your comments or behavior is preventing new member participation, you will find your posting privilages limited. The Inferno is a welcoming group in person and that must also be the case online.

IV. Images
Currently, posting links to images is allowed on the forum. Do not link to any pictures containing nudity, near-nudity, or including profanity. An easy way to think of it is this: is it safe for someone to view while at the office? If not, don't post it. Please keep the images to a manageable size also.

V. Violence
The Inferno does not sanction violence in any shape or form. Do not instigate it, applaud it or glorify it... you will be banned.
Threats of violence, physical or otherwise, is not acceptable at any time and will not be tolerated.

VI. Reporting Abuse
If you find a post that you feel to be inappropriate, please click on the link at the very bottom of the page that says "REPORT AN ABUSE". The moderators will be notified and are able to review the post and remove it if they feel it is needed.

Beware: if a user gets reported too many times for any of the above offenses, Inferno Officers and TIDN Admins will remove their posting privileges.
